Two CFLC graduating seniors of the Class of 2016, Gao Xin and Sun Yanshan, are among the ten XMU students who were honored on June 7 as the most outstanding graduating students.

Miss Gao won the top honor in the category of entrepreneurship. At the award presenting ceremony, she related the story of how she started a sign language interpreting service company and how her company supported volunteer service for the local community.

Miss Sun received the top distinction in the category of self-empowerment. She takes “the harder one works, the luckier they becomes” as her personal creed. Despite her handicap, she has excelled academically and managed to play an active role in the university community. Her story has inspired university students nationwide.

Last year, two other CFLC graduating seniors won the same honor.
